Product overview
What this product covers
This product is intended for dispatch, retail back-office, receiving and short-life inventory label operators. Direct-thermal stock images from the printhead without a ribbon and commonly carries addresses, receipts, short-life barcodes and handling data. Confirm printer, media path, core and required life before paper or synthetic stock for abrasion, heat, light, substrate and adhesive. Heat-sensitive roll labels for short- to medium-life barcode, shipping, receipt and variable-information printing. Direct thermal labels form the image through heat from the printhead and do not require a ribbon. Facestock, top coating and adhesive are selected from expected life, heat, light, abrasion and contact conditions. The image is created directly in the heat-sensitive face stock; thermal-transfer labels use a separate ribbon and are chosen for different durability needs. Zheye controls artwork and variable-data output using purchased paper, film, adhesive and ribbon constructions. Performance claims apply to the quoted material combination, not to an unnamed generic label. This page presents one standard model, PL-01-PAPER, in Coated direct thermal paper. Dimensions, processes and acceptance notes on this page refer to this representative construction.

Recommended project inputs
- Direct Thermal Labels; printer model, label size and core, required life, data sample, substrate, environment and quantity.
- State the identified object, material/surface, available space, orientation, holes/ties/adhesive/matched tool and provide a site photo where possible.
- Provide length, width/diameter, thickness, corners/edges, holes/slots, fit tolerances and any keep-clear or no-adhesive zones.
- Supply final text, units, graphics, colour, language, serial/barcode/RFID rule, human-readable data and one approved revision; numbers shown in sample images are never treated as production data.
- State temperature and dwell, indoor/outdoor use, UV, water, oil, cleaner/chemical, abrasion, vibration, read conditions or other real exposure together with test method and pass/fail criterion.
- Provide prototype and production quantity, start/end and permitted-gap rules, grouping, packing sequence, batch documents and target delivery.
- Where regulation, certification, permit, ethics, brand authorisation or customer specification applies, provide the applicable revision and owner-approved file; a product name or image cannot replace it.
