Requirements before products

Custom identification starts with your evidence

Share the object, application, current identification problem, physical interface, operating exposure, record fields and acceptance method. Those requirements define the material, marking, attachment, data and production controls to review.

Customer jobs

Core solution programmes

Choose the closest job, then confirm the evidence and controls that make it specific to your project.

SOL-CORE-01

Serialized Identification Programs

Use this route when every product, animal, asset, container, specimen or seal carries unique serial, variable text, QR Code, Data Matrix or barcode data and the identity must not be duplicated, shifted or separated from packing order.

Controlled outputs

  • approved data file and field mapping.
  • start/end, prefix, group, permitted gaps and duplicate review.
  • alignment between artwork, data, physical item and pack label.
  • packing by site, size, colour, member, animal or deployment batch.
  • approved records for repeat-order continuity.

SOL-CORE-02

Harsh Environment Identification

Use this route when identification faces saltwater, chemicals, heat, UV, cold, mud, wash-down, abrasion, vibration or repeated handling and material, marking and attachment must be reviewed as one system.

Controlled outputs

  • state actual exposure rather than generic weather/chemical resistance.
  • select laser, deep engraving, mechanical engraving, stamping or print by material and exposure.
  • confirm holes, rivets, ties, wires, adhesive and installation surface.
  • set acceptance with customer-approved samples and test conditions.

SOL-CORE-03

OEM Nameplate Supply Programs

Use this route when an OEM manages multiple models, drawings, revisions and repeat production for nameplates, rating plates, control legends or certification plates.

Controlled outputs

  • each SKU binds to one drawing, material, size, process and mounting rule.
  • separate fixed artwork from serial, date and rating variables.
  • freeze revision through first-article approval and retain change history.
  • support multi-SKU orders and packing by line, machine or kit.

SOL-CORE-04

Wildlife Research Identification

Use this route when banding centres, research institutes, national parks or conservation programmes need rings, flags, collars, wing tags or other auxiliary markers configured by species, life stage, attachment site and study protocol.

Controlled outputs

  • programme owner approves species, fit, material, weight and closure.
  • colour, code, side position and serial schedule follow the study key.
  • first article checks edge, roundness, movement clearance, closure and re-reading.
  • pack by species, size, colour, range, station or deployment batch.

Requirement review

Find the failure mode first

SOL-REQ-01

Data & Continuity

Review: Who owns the master data, what are the fields, how are numbers generated, which gaps are allowed, what scanner/grade is required, and how do data groups map to packing groups?

Failure modes: Duplicates, gaps, shifted fields, QR/human-readable mismatch, left/right mix-up or reorder from the wrong endpoint.

SOL-REQ-02

Environment & Service Life

Review: What are actual temperature/duration, chemical/concentration/cleaning, salt/UV/water/abrasion/vibration, service life and pass test?

Failure modes: Corrosion, fading, contrast loss, adhesive failure, heat distortion, chemical attack, edge wear or fastener failure.

SOL-REQ-03

Supply Workflow

Review: Which drawing is released, how do BOM and product code map, how are batches grouped, what does the pack label show, and who confirms revision and serial endpoint for reorders?

Failure modes: Wrong drawing revision, mixed SKU, data separated from product, site-packing error or broken reorder continuity.

SOL-REQ-04

Field Application

Review: Who installs, what is the object/space, where is attachment, which tool is used, and how are items rechecked, read, replaced and reported?

Failure modes: Poor fit, wrong applicator, inadequate viewing distance, deployment mix-up or status separated from records.

Specialist applications

Application-specific starting points

SOL-SPEC-01

CITES & Breeding Identification

Closed, replacement or other approved identifiers follow the responsible programme's certificate, year, breeder, serial and replacement rules; a product name does not replace official authorisation.

SOL-SPEC-02

Marine & Offshore Identification

Material, marking and mounting are selected together for saltwater, marine atmosphere, wash-down, dissimilar metals, cables, cages and onboard equipment.

SOL-SPEC-03

Chemical & Harsh-Environment Identification

Selection uses specific chemical, concentration, temperature, time, cleaning, mud, abrasion and space limits rather than a generic chemical-resistant claim.

SOL-SPEC-04

Battery Passport & Physical Data Carriers

Connect customer-supplied battery ID, URL, QR Code or Data Matrix with battery, module, cabinet and service records; Zheye makes the physical carrier and does not create or validate the customer's database content.

SOL-SPEC-05

Returnable Asset & Container Identification

Give pallets, totes, cages, stillages, carts and transport assets a durable identity linked to issue, return, cleaning, repair and retirement events.

SOL-SPEC-06

Inspection & Lifecycle Identification

Connect permanent asset identity with inspection, calibration, maintenance, service, status change and replacement records; a status marker is not interpreted apart from the responsible system.

SOL-SPEC-07

Forestry & Research Plot Identification

Provide revisitable identity for trees, plots, provenance groups, greenhouse trials and environmental projects while accounting for growth, attachment, GIS and long-term outdoor exposure.

SOL-SPEC-08

Evidence Chain & Tamper-Evident Identification

Use serialised seals, labels and small identifiers for controlled handover, substitution detection, opening record and register matching; seal type must match the locking point and threat scenario.

SOL-SPEC-09

Zoos, Aquariums & Live Animal Transport

Coordinate identity across animals, enclosures, crates, quarantine zones, certificates, document pouches and veterinary specimens; fit, application and recheck follow the responsible institution's welfare rules and SOP.
