An adjustable closure or several fit positions identify an individual, breeding group or treatment group and are checked under the farm procedure for fit, wear and loss. Unlike a fixed closed ring fitted early, it is selected from bird type, current leg measurement, expected growth, wear period and reuse need before range, number, colour, closure security and tool.
