This product is intended for pathology, histology and cytology laboratories, research cores and laboratory-automation teams. Slide or cassette identity links case, tissue block, section and stain records through fixation, processing, embedding, sectioning and archive. Confirm slide frosted area or cassette geometry, processing chemicals, printer and barcode workflow before label or print medium. Labels or marking media for tissue cassettes, selected for processing chemicals and cassette geometry. Tissue cassette identification must remain associated with the specimen through the laboratory's processing protocol. Cassette material, writing face, solvents, heat and printer or applicator determine the suitable construction.
