Product overview

What this product covers

This product is intended for avian ecology, migration-route, breeding-monitoring and long-range resighting projects. Colour, side position and large code follow the project key so observers can record an individual without recapture. The project approves species fit and colour combination before viewing distance, characters, side or position, code list and packing. High-contrast colour rings with large engraved codes for visual resighting at distance. Engraved Darvic colour rings are made for remote visual identification. Internal diameter, height, wall, code length, colour contrast and reading orientation must be coordinated. Unlike plain combination rings, every ring can carry a large individual code for direct resighting. Zheye forms and marks the ring, band, collar or tag to the released programme schedule. The responsible wildlife programme selects species fit, attachment protocol and legal authorization. This page presents one standard model, BW-13, in Darvic-type engraving plastic. Dimensions, processes and acceptance notes on this page refer to this representative construction.
